spiral & helical staircase bending services

At Longero, we have long specialized in spiral and curved (helical is another term we see often) stairs and railings.  Whether we are rolling component parts on a plate roll or an angle roll, our craftsmen have the experience to successfully complete your project.  We can provide either entire staircases or component parts such as stringers and rails. 

RAILS

Some projects only require metal rails, as the staircase itself is constructed from non-metal materials.  That is not a problem for us.  We only ask that our customer completes our Spiral Worksheet (attached below).  We can certainly assist with filling out the form correctly. 

We can spiral roll up to 2” pipe and 1.5” Rod.  We have rolled Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and non-ferrous metal tubes and pipes.  We have also rolled square and rectangular tubes, depending on the geometry of the project.

STRINGERS

We can roll stringers out of plate, HSS and channel.  We have rolled stringers from channels both flanges in and flanges out to “box” the stringer.  Depending on the tightness of the radius, we can roll stringers up to HSS 12 x4.

COMPLETE STAIRS

We are happy to fabricate your complete stair.  Our Project Managers have years of experience and will help guide you through the process to make sure the project is completed to your satisfaction.

PUBLIC ART

Artists are generally some of our biggest challenges, depending on what their imagination designs. We have also rolled countless pieces for public art projects which require spiral rolling on plates, HSS, pipes, and tubes.
