Aluminum fabrication & welding Services

Longero has an experienced team of talented fabricators who work with aluminum.  We fabricate with many types of  aluminum including types 6061 and 5052.  We have worked with more exotic materials over our more than 100-year history.

 We can fabricate according to your project drawing requirements and specifications, or we can produce shop drawings from your designs for your approval.  We are not an engineering firm.

Our welders can be certified per AWS D1.2. Longero would provide these certifications upon request.  We are also able to certify to other codes as required by contract documents or drawings.   

Longero utilizes several welding processes depending on project requirements. Processes used include  GMAW (MIG or Hard Wire) and GTAW (Tig).

Longero specializes in plate fabrication with typical projects including gear guards, railings, platforms, trellises,  transitions, public art projects, process equipment, and spiral staircases.   We have a great deal of experience with a wide range of project types.

Longero offers full-service welding for both small and large projects.  Most of our projects are one-off or small quantity batches, in values ranging from $1,000 to more than $1,000,000.  We excel when rolled or formed steel is an integral part of a project.  We work closely with both painters and galvanizers depending on project requirements.

We use third party weld inspection to avoid conflict of interests with your project.  Third party credentials are available upon request.
